To be perfectly straightforward, any psychic advisor who tells you that something will absolutely, assuredly happen is either deliberately lying to you or is not well versed in their field.

A psychic reading is based entirely on the energies present and in motion at the time of the reading.  It basically “freezes a moment in time” and tells you what will happen if no major influences change.  It identifies a direction the energy and life path is currently heading and allows you to make changes based on what you see.

When you receive a reading from a psychic, they are telling you the most likely outcome of a situation based on the energies present at that time. 

Free will is a strong factor in whether or not the information in a reading actually plays out as given.  For instance, if an advisor tells a client that they are likely to have a particular experience at work the following day, but the client chooses to stay home and not go to work, the client has, by their own free will, changed what the advisor saw happening.  It does not make what the advisor saw less valid; the client simply enacted free will to keep the experience from happening.

One analogy to consider is that the energy that flows through a reading is like a rushing river.  The strong current of the river is carrying the client to a particular destination.  They have the option of swimming hard against that current, reaching the shore and walking in a different direction, but the overall movement is toward that original destination.  When you receive a psychic reading from an advisor, you are being shown where the river is currently taking you.
